Welcome to MSolTec, dedicated to creating a cleaner, safer world for our children and beyond...
Ecological responsibility is a priority in the modern world. How to achieve sustainability goals without compromising financial and competitive advantages is a monumental conundrum most are not prepared to address.
MSolTec is in the business of helping any organization meet, and exceed, their sustainability and environmental stewardship and energy goals without compromising fiscal responsibility.
We can help you identify physical assets hiding as environmental liabilities and work within regulatory constraints while moving you into a world of ecological harmony and sustainability.

From municipalities to world-renowned destinations, MSolTec works with our customers to turn waste and energy challenges into measurable resource opportunities. Our collaborations have included the University of California, Irvine, where we implemented custom solutions to remove free liquids from waste and recycling streams; the City of Avalon on Catalina Island, where we educated civic leadership on modern resource-based waste management practices; and the Wrigley Marine Science Center at Two Harbors, where we advised on environmental systems, sustainability technologies, and energy-aware infrastructure planning.
We are proud to serve as an official supplier to a major theme park operator in Anaheim, California, where MSolTec has analyzed waste streams, proposed operational improvements, and maintains a strong, ongoing working relationship with resort operations, while also providing energy-focused consulting that helps large organizations evaluate efficiency, strategy, and technology options to improve overall environmental performance. Our liquids separation systems have helped them to be publicly recognized for environmental stewardship.
MSolTec is launching a new initiative in partnership with Purify LA to convert forest cullings and woody biomass into renewable diesel and high-quality biochar. This project is designed to reduce wildfire risk by removing excess fuel from forests, permanently sequester carbon in stable biochar, and return nutrients to agricultural soils to improve crop productivity. By transforming underutilized biomass into clean transportation fuel and soil-enhancing carbon products, the program delivers a triple benefit—safer forests, healthier farms, and much-needed renewable energy for local communities.

Sustainability is where productive activity is performed with no direct or indirect environmental consequences.
Essentially, an organization has reached sustainability when their products and/or services have no impact on the environment, from cradle to cradle. This reflects a perpetual nature to the resources and processes of doing business, and thus is sustainable.
Some examples of sustainability goals include:
Sustainability does not require improving upon the environment; however, goals for carbon sequestration and environmental recovery promote environmental stewardship and corporate citizenship.

Some examples of sustainability goals include:
- All packaging of only recyclable materials
- All fleet vehicles to operate on renewable bio fuels
- All electricity to come from renewable energy sources
- All water consumption limited to naturally replenishable sources
- Become a net-negative greenhouse gas emissions company

With a basic understanding of where environment intersects energy,
you can better understand where your organization fits in a sustainable world.

Although it can seem like being sustainable will be costly, uncompromised profitability is often achievable by making simple changes to processes or sources of materials, or converting liabilities into assets.
For example, many "Blue Chip" corporations with extensive campuses can generate up to 50 tons of trash per day of post recycle waste (landfill trash). With typical removal and disposal fees of $50/ton, the cost of managing this liability is about $1M/yr. Just a part of the cost of doing business.
The same company with an effective sustainability plan could look at their waste as an asset with 4000 BTUs of energy per pound. By removing free liquids, separating recyclables and preparing the organic materials in the waste, as much as 250 watts of electricity can be generated per pound. Scaled up, this company could generate power with their own waste while saving up to $1M/yr in trash removal fees and up to $2M/yr in electricity. Thereby, turning a $1M liability into a $3M asset.
This "Blue Chip" company is now a "Green Chip" company by acting as a Good Corporate Citizen through their Sustainability Program. And..., it saves them $3M/yr.
